Eric Benavides

A native of Kingsville, TX, Eric Benavides is a criminal defense lawyer and partner at Benavides & Serrano, PLLC.  He is a part of multiple organizations including the National College of DUI Defense, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, and Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association where he served on the board of directors.

Mr. Benavides graduated from the prestigious Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Trial College where he was trained by some of the best lawyers in the nation.  He was honored as one of the Top Lawyers in Houston, TX by the Houstonia Magazine in 2015.  Mr. Benavides has had multiple dismissals, no bills, and not guilty verdicts in counties across Texas.

Mr. Benavides is a graduate of both The University of Texas at Austin and the Texas Tech University School of Law.  He was also Valedictorian of his High School Class.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Carina, his daughter Camila, playing poker, playing golf, and attending Texas Longhorns sporting events.

Sammy Serrano

Sammy Serrano is an immigration and criminal defense attorney in Houston, TX.  He is a co-founder of Benavides & Serrano, PLLC.  He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and is licensed to practice law in the state by the Supreme Court of Texas.  Mr. Serrano practices immigration law and dedicates his time to assisting both individual and corporate clients.

Mr. Serrano is versed in employment immigration issues including immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. He has helped many companies and individuals handle an array of cases for H-1B, L-1, E-2, P-3, O-1 visas. Mr. Serrano’s also concentrates on representing individuals with removal issues including assisting with motions to reopen, appeals, cancellation of removals, adjustment of status, bond hearings

Mr. Serrano earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas and his Juris Doctorate from the Texas Tech University School of Law.
